Death Stranding ‘Briefing’ trailer off-screen recording leaked

A seven-minute briefing of protagonist Sam's mission.

Death Stranding

A off-screen recording of the seven-minute “Briefing” trailer for Death Stranding shown during a closed presentation at the PlayStation booth at Gamescom 2019 this past week has leaked online.

The trailer features characters Amelie and Die Hardman, who brief protagonist Sam Porter Bridges on his mission to travel west and reconnect the Chiral Network terminals scattered across the United Cities of America. Doing so will integrate the terminals into the Chiral Web, which will deisolate and reconnect the people of the nation. Sam, however, turns down this mission, promising not to get involved with Amelie and Hardman, “or anyone else, ever again.”

Death Stranding is due out for PlayStation 4 on November 8.
