Combat

The protagonist has a large number of attack patterns. Combine a variety of actions to dramatically expand the breadth of combat, including light and heavy attacks unleashed with the press of a button, a wraparound triggered by evasive action, a “reflect” attack triggered by guarding against an attack with good timing that can destroy the enemy’s foundation, and more.

Magic

With the Grimoire Weiss, the protagonist can use magical spells. Using the power of dark blood, this magic can take the form of spears, hands, and more to pose a real threat. Its power can also be doubled by building up magical power and then firing a magical spell.

Weapons

In rare cases, you may receive a “Word” when defeating enemies. Words can be equipped to weapons, magic, and martial arts to create special effects. With over 100 Words to obtain, there is a large variety of effects, including higher attack power and defense power, more experience points, and inflicting enemies with status ailments.
